Meet Mavis — Musselman Hotels’ Employee Pet of the Month

Meet Mavis, a tiny rescue senior chihuahua with the sweetest personality. 🐶 When her owners first adopted her, she was shy and had a hard time adjusting to her new home. A few weeks later, they decided it was time to bring in another little companion, Queenie (on the right).

Before long, the two became completely inseparable, and Mavis slowly came out of her shell and began thriving. From Starbucks pup cups and tiny Halloween costumes to cuddles and nonstop lovins, they did everything together.

Late last year, Queenie sadly had to be put down due to complications from old age. While her owners mourned the loss of her, they also worried about how Mavis would handle losing her best friend. Thankfully, Queenie left such a strong impact on Mavis that her sweet personality and joyful spirit continues to shine through. 🤍 🐾
