Musselman Hotels Supports Non-Profit, Big Brothers Big Sisters® of Kentuckiana

Giving back to our community and making an impact is one of the greatest acts we can do. At Musselman Hotels, we are fortunate enough to be able to support numerous Non-Profits and other local organizations to help our community thrive.

One of the Non-Profits we are grateful to be able to work with and support is Big Brothers Big Sisters® of Kentuckiana. We’re all about leading individuals to success here at Musselman Hotels, which is exactly what Big Brothers Big Sisters® of Kentuckiana does. With this mentoring program, children and teens, also referred to as “Littles,” are matched with an adult mentor called a “Big.” This one-to-one mentorship helps support youth to reach their full potential and sets them up with tools and experiences that help them grow, making it possible to achieve whatever they put their mind to.

We recognize that young people are our future, which makes it that much more important that younger generations are supported by the community around them. As Big Brothers Big Sisters® of Kentuckiana says, “While all youth have equal potential, they do not have equal opportunity.” Impactful programs like Big Brothers Big Sisters® of Kentuckiana are imperative to our community as they work to bridge this gap by helping to create opportunities for disadvantaged youths, and making it possible for future generations to reach success.

It is not only the young person’s life who is changed when involved in a mentoring program such as Big Brothers Big Sisters® of Kentuckiana. More often than not, being a Big doesn’t solely involve supporting a Little and helping them grow on their own. Typically, a Big also changes and transforms throughout the mentoring process as their lives are majorly impacted by their Little. As the relationship between Big & Little grows, they learn from one another, subsequently causing both individuals to grow and develop into better people.

We are so grateful to be able to support such a life-changing Non-Profit and hope to see this wonderful program continue to flourish for years to come!
