Kevin Sergent

Kevin was raised in Columbus, Ohio where his passion for cooking was born while watching his mother preparing family dinners. Until, that is, he started preparing family dinners. After graduating high school Kevin moved to Louisville where he graduated from Sullivan University with a degree in Culinary Arts. After graduation Kevin relocated to Bowling Green, KY where he assisted in opening three successful restaurants. Eventually, missing Louisville, he returned in 2015 to except a position at the Louisville Boat Club as Executive Sous Chef. At the same time he also worked with Musselman Hotels at the Marriott/ Louisville East. In 2018 Kevin joined the team at the Seelbach Hotel as Chef de Cuisine; he is excited about his future with Musselman Hotels and being involved in the restoration of the hotel. In his free time he enjoys being the single father of two dogs- Chili and Mona, while also enjoying golfing, buying vintage clothes, and the Pittsburg Steelers.
