Seelbach donates a Fun Box to Hazelwood Elementary

Our team from The Seelbach Hilton Louisville donated a “Fun Box” to Hazelwood Elementary School.

One of Hazelwood’s biggest daily struggles is with attendance.  The school created an incentive to try to encourage kids to be a-part of wanting to come to school.   For each classroom that has 1 – 2 weeks of 100% attendance gets to pick items from “The Fun Box” – Fun colored pencils – folders that are printed instead of solid color, snap bracelets, etc. the type of stuff that you can find at the Dollar store and The Dollar spot at Target.

Last year their total attendance went up to 94% by putting this incentive in place and they are trying to get that number above 96%
